Katelyn and Daniel’s Elegant Wedding at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach in Los Angeles, CA
Katelyn and Daniel had the wedding of their dreams on June 9th, 2018. Check out these beautiful wedding photos at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa, Los Angeles, California. Being a part of the beautiful sunny outdoor ceremony was surely a highlight moment for everyone who attended.
Getting Prepared to Take the Leap
As guests started to arrive at the luxurious Hyatt Regency hotel, the lovely couple was inside stepping into the exquisite outfits they would later reveal to all of their guests.
Katelyn held a beautiful bouquet of pink, yellow, and white flowers which reflected the lovely shade of white of her wedding dress and the gorgeous pink of the bridesmaids’ dresses. She wore an elegant strapless dress that flowed outwards to create a long silky train behind her.
The simple open-toed flats was the perfect addition to her outfit as they fit the relaxed atmosphere set by the summertime Los Angeles weather.
Her gorgeous blonde hair hung down in loose bouncy curls and was perfectly held in place by shimmering clips which paired nicely with her diamond teardrop earrings.
Daniel decided to go with a classic white and navy blue pairing that involved a bright white dress shirt, equally vibrant white tie and pocket square, dark navy blue suit jacket and pants, and a pair of brown dress shoes that gave him a timeless look.
The bridesmaids wore long, flowing light pink dresses, and their individual bouquets were just as stunning as Katelyn’s except the flowers were all white, adding to the elegant simplicity of their outfits.
The groomsmen wore suits that closely resembled Daniel’s look. The only difference is they swapped out the white tie and pocket square for a shade of pink that matched the color worn by the beautiful bridesmaids.
The Stunning Location
When picking a location for an ideal wedding, it’s hard to find one that provides more luscious scenery than Huntington Beach Los Angeles.
The evergreen grass lawn gave the environment that pop of color that helps turn an ordinary location into an extraordinary wedding backdrop. The palm trees that surrounded the property brought that laid-back tropical vibe to what can otherwise be a stressful time for the bride, groom, and wedding party.
The fact that their wedding took place at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach meant that Katelyn and Daniel had plenty of opportunities to take advantage of the elegant artwork and structures that can only be found at high-end hotels. The beautiful tiered fountain at the front of the building was the ultimate architectural highlight without outshining the lovely couple on their special day.
The ceremony took place on the back lawn and was perfectly positioned so that the majestic stretch of ocean was the couple’s backdrop. Simple white folding chairs lined the lawn in a straight line towards the altar, leaving a path for the elegantly dressed bridal party to walk down.
Once Daniel was at his position, standing tall and proud at the altar, it was time for Katelyn to make her entrance. She wore a lovely transparent veil and was escorted by her father to her rightful place beside Daniel.
From there, the ceremony continued with the couple exchanging vows and wedding rings, and then having their first kiss as a married couple while the guests rose to their feet and applauded.
Dancing the Night Away
The reception had many spectacular moments. The entire room was filled with meaningful accessories including a tile dance floor in the middle of the room, an engraved hatchet to represent Daniel’s brave role as a firefighter, and a lovely four-tier wedding cake with white frosting, pink flowers to accentuate it, and a silhouette wedding topping of a firefighter kissing a woman.
It was in this room that Katelyn and Daniel danced the night away and ended the big celebration with a champagne toast to their new status as a married couple.
